Italian Indulgence (BRSITA)
Meredith and RobinBon jour!
You gave us a wonderful tour of Italy - we are still buzzing with it and digesting it all. Thanks so much - we will definitely recommend you to our friends and family.
Italian Indulgence
Heather & Paul, Australia (June 2010) Discovering Italy with you was great fun. Your passion for your work was a privilege for us to share - not only did we experience more than just places to see, but we learned so much about Italy's history, culture, food, politics, stories about paintings, mosaics, relics and treasures, architecture and antiquities. The 'side' trips were an added bonus - such as the Roman boat site being slowly restored at Pisa and the lovely lakeside gardens we walked in at Legano. Not to mention that we've stood in the very centre of Italy together. (But what was the name of that town?)
How very fortunate we were too, in having Claudio as our driver! To cruise around Italy in a near new Mercedes with the impeccable, patient, always-on-time Claudio was a delight. We have been making the most of this with friends who envy our good fortune that we travelled with 'our' very own driver, and with you, who was as much our companion as our guide. Your organising skills, flexibility and pleasure in sharing 'your Italy' was much appreciated. To list just a couple: the seamless way in which you organised how we met with our other specialist guides, the organisation of our water taxis, the research you did regarding slow food restaurants and other places of interest from loo stops to coffee shops.
How fortunate we were to share all this, and to have as our fellow travellers, such lovely people as Val and Phil. We're keeping in touch and plan to catch up with each other in September.
Italian Indulgence
Mr Ray & Sally Wanklyn, Australia (Sep 2010) We recently returned from a fabulous indulgence tour of Italy. The tour, accommodation, meals were great but special mention must be reserved for our terrific guides, Gian Poalo Dell`Orto & Vivien Roddya. Their knowledge, contacts, recommendations and guidance was outstanding. Our group had an really memorable holiday & we will be touring again with Back Roads next year.
